Living the good life

Well, I made it! Tomorrow is the last day of school for the boys I sit for. No one was expelled or suspended lol. Actually both boys earned fabulous grade this year (some hard fought  at home by me and their mom). All in all, it was a good year. And to top it all off, Chris and I are going on a cruise next week. That's right, the boys go off to sleep away camp so I am taking an actual adult vacation!!!! We are taking a 7 day cruise out of NYC (an hour and a half train ride from me) to Bermuda! Chris and I are so looking forward to seven days of relaxation, free food (Chris is especially excited about that) getting an amazing tan, and a beautiful Island filled with lovely locals. I will be posting pics as soon as we come back!!!

So this morning I went to target and bought Stieg Larson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I plan on starting it tonight before bed. I am excited to start a new series after devouring The Hunger Games, and Fifty Shades of Grey trilogies. Also, I am excited to start it now because I was looking for a good read to bring on my upcoming cruise to Bermuda (in two weeks) and this is a trilogy (as I am sure you all know).

my seemingly busy life

Well,a lot has transpired between now and June. And i'm sorry I have been so neglectful of my humble. Blog.!! I got a new phone, a smart phone. (Does it make me more intelligent?) A DROID x2 is my new passport to the land of the world wide web: in fact I am using it now. So please excuse any typos lol. I have a cool new job! Not teaching, but hey, it pays the bills. I am working as an assistant. The Schumers whom I have babysat for yearsssss also own a small business (Soleil Toile a lingerie and swimwear store) as her online shall I say, organizer. I updated the website and soon I will be running online shopping! And I get to get the two boys from school everyday so I am also awarded the opportunity to tutor the 6th grader. ( who is in desperate need of the organizational and gramatical skills! ) so right ba da ba ba ba, i'm loving it.

Also, my friends Sarah and Brandon are getting married in two weeks! Yikes and hooray! I have my bridesmaids dress and a fantastic pair of silver shoes just awaiting the joyous occasion. And this weekend is the bachelorette party! I can't believe I am "old" enough to have friends my age getting married!!!!!! Ahhhh!!!!

And speaking if marriage, a wonderful commitment chris and I are so not ready for at this moment, my best friend since childhood, Lisa and her boyfriend of 8 1/2 years are engaged! And yay! I am maid of honor!
